... Hi Racer, without a doubt, replacing the stock exhaust with 00Racing's kit was the single most transformational thing I've done to my stock Ace, gave it a completely new 'soul' ... highly recommended.

Thanks for the pics, Peter!
... update: after much deliberation, I decided against installing the rear duck-tail, too much mucking around ! ... will keep it stock.

That rear looks great Peter ! - do you have any pic taken from the side, and any details of how you mounted it? I think my parts arrive in about a week's time.
Cheers

... Hi Peter, didn't know you had the same rear end ... do you have a pic of it installed on your bike?
Crazy - was thinking of mounting the plate on the flat side of the rubber guard, but the angle may be too flat ... hmmm. Might have to make up a bracket like on the Duke's pic.

Thanks for the inspirations, Gents ! ... think it'll probably end up being being a combination of shortening the guard and fitting a smaller tail light.
Will speak to someone about the pro's and con's of laser cutting the rear guard, and whether it'll require repainting.

Thinking about doing something to her rear end ... like maybe cutting / shortening or removing the rear guard altogether. Unsure if it'll 'shorten' the overall look of the bike too much, or whether it's best just to preserve it's 'flowing' lines ... hmmm, decisions decisions ...

Have you ruled out your kick stand kill switch ? I've read somewhere that it has caused the engine to die for no apparent reason. I've disabled mine.

Looks much tidier, always thought of getting mine done but didn't want it to be a clear weather ride only. Would it have been easier to just cut the rear guard leaving just the section from 12 o'clock to 3 ?
