Big or little wheel on the XV750? Which do you prefer?

Yeah, they definitely require a bit more rider input with the fat tire, not quite as responsive.

Big or little wheel on the XV750? Which do you prefer?

Here is my latest XV750 project, stock size front wheel and tire. Also, my original bike with the rear to front conversion. Which look do you prefer?

Thanks Swivel, I'll stand behind this bolt on design. The bike will be set up with a seat for only one rider, so no need to design for two.

Yeah, I like the fat front tire look as well. The bike handled great, but that fat wheel and tire do slow the responsiveness down a bit. I am going similar to the first bike on this build, just because i fell in love with its lines. Will try to refine a few things in the process.

    81 XV750 Cafe? build #2

A lot of you guys criticized my fat front tire in my last build, so I figured this time around I would save some cash on the rear to front wheel conversion and go with the stock front wheel and tire. The new build is just beginning.

Well, it's definitely not as quickly manuverable as a modern sport bike, but it's not meant to be that. It's more of a cruiser with the fat tire up front. I've just put on a new front tire, the one in the picture is an old worn out, flat centered rear, and it still went around corners...

Thanks! I was on the fence with fork color, but glad I decided to paint them. I'll be shortening the cables. Was hoping some creative routing would take care of it, but didn't work. I'll be running a small after market speedo.
