1970 Honda CL450 "Ginger"

That tire shine looks really nice on those off-road tires. Wouldn't want them to get dirty now would we?

Love and miss you Henry.

Ha, yes, she's all cleaned up and purdy, because thats how i keep her.

added front signals and in general really cleaned up the front end, just the basics.

*first let me apologize for the shite photo, was crammed in my garage and short on time but wanted to snap a shot*
She's nearly finished, just need to sort out the wiring, hook up the ol' carbies, time it, oil it, gas it, kick it. Pretty excited as this has been months and months in the works (mostly waiting for the valve job on the motor), meanwhile i've had nothing to ride... so very ready.

Finally got her running again! Still have some wiring to sort out, but 2 kicks and she started right up...quiet core exhaust is slightly more throaty than the stock mufflers, which is a far-cry better than the deafening open mufflers it had. I'll get a nice running vid going soon, and also some pics from somewhere other than my garage...lol

I hope you got a pretty penny for it/ sold it to someone who will appreciate it. Was it a local sell? It was a siiick bike. (Sorry for takin the thread on a tangent...)

I do miss her, but the chunk of change was hefty enough to warrant sale. I can always build another, 360s are common enough, and the labor of love is always fun. Sold it locally to a guy up in Colorado Springs.

After many hours in the garage tracing god knows how many shorts in the wiring, i'm finally up and running. Went on a few rides over the long weekend and was reminded of just how amazing it is to be able to ride a motorcycle. Certainly have missed it. Snapped a few pics after my first ride, and some videos so you can hear the DCC "quiet core" mufflers, which i think are purely awesome. Also had a bit of fun with the helmet...

See how when you called, it started running shortly thereafter?! Why you always doubting me, fuckface

took her out for a nice long ride and vintage show, and en route, she started leaking oil like a stuck pig does blood. Ended up being the shift shaft seal, so i replaced both the push rod seal and shift shaft seal. Also found out, from the 2nd mauled clutch cable lifter, that the 450 does not work properly with an O ring chain (too fat), so i swapped to a cheaper standard chain. She seems to be running like a top (knock on wood) and the leaking has subsided, so i rode her to work today...it was pure awesomeness to say the least.

Also went out to Dacono (BFE) colorado for flat track racing, vid is below and a couple pics tailgating in the lot with fingerbanger (greg) and his following.

( http://youtu.be/FcxgLIKjcxM ) vid is from the Vintage class--which was certainly the most entertaining.
