1972 CL 350 Cafe Project

Thanks PJ! I figured out the problem with the 6" buffer, so I've been polishing stuff while waiting for paint.

I'm thinking of putting on 2 coats of clear on the hubs, then put the black pin stripes, then one more clear.

As far as the rim that was primered before painting, it turned out poorly. I'll re-evaluate it before I put down a second coat, but chances are I'll be sanding it down and repainting. Too much texture left behind by the primer.

Anyone know how to upload photos from a Black Berry? I've seen others that upload photos from their smart phones. Sucks when your phone is smarter than you!

Hi Brad, I'm waiting for some stuff to come in, second carb should be done 'soon'

Thats what I wanna hear Peter, thanks. Going to try and finish the wiring on the cl360 today and if the weather stays like this in WI I might beable to ride up until December ;D Any special bit used for drilling the front hub? or start small and slowly gently work your way up?

Mark inside hub and use 1/8" drill bit to make sure holes are in correct position.
Then use 1-1/2" hole saw at low speed from outside

Can anyone recommend a combined regulator rectifier that isn't $100 and still works reliably and efficiently?

I got a Kawasaki one if you want to re-wire (it's a good idea to re-wire anyway)

You just need a rectifier then.

Wheels built yet?

Front hub. I'll polish it one more time and clean up the line where the paint starts, but this is how she looks!

Clockwise from top: Feeler guage, new regulator, LED break lights (pair) and LED turn lights, plug end for H4 light bulb, new male and female connectors for rectifier, and a new rectifier.

Cool stuff, everything coming together ;D
You want new shock bottoms?
I have pair ready for the shocks I have stripped down

Guess its about that time again. Schools letting out for the summer and I wanna ride my bike, not just work on it!
