1972 Honda SL125 - First bike

Got the frame where I'm happy with it finally. Went with semi-gloss this time since I'm making the bike look like it has some age.

Also have started playing with the rear seat pan. Decided to use the original one and just modify it to my liking. Still a work in progress.

Right now I'm working on cleaning up the swing arm and waiting on new shocks and hardware.

Well my DCC retro slim shocks came today and they look amazing. Also took the swing arm down to bare metal and repainted it. Plus my new hardware for the shocks came as well. The swing arm shaft looks pretty sad now with all the other parts being so fresh so I'll probably be tracking down new stuff for it soon.

The tank is just sitting on there for looks since I was getting all excited with the shocks and swing arm being on there lol.

Also next up will be tracking down another option for the front end. The new shocks dropped the rear about 2" and so the front end will need to come down. My lower legs and tubes measure out to 30.5 inches and I'm going to look for a CB200T front end which come in at 27.5 inches. My only issue is the front wheel. I was wanting to keep my wheel for the drum brake but I might go for the 200T wheel even with the disc brake since its also a smaller wheel. I was very surprised to see the sl125 comes with a 21" wheel which I think will look too big for the style I'm going for. The 200T is an 18" so I could get a meater tire if I go that route.

I'm curious if anyone knows but the 74-76 CB200T, is the front end the same as a 73 CB200? I have been looking and haven't seen any dimensions on just a plain CB200. There is a parts bike local to me that I've kicked around buying.
