Ellwood said:Hey Trek what's the difference between the Rotella regular vs the blue bottle synthetic? Just curious since they both have a JASO-MA rating and elevated levels of valve friendly additives. Difference in the clutch feeling is what I am asking. I have seen people use both.

deviant said:Woooooo! This thing is a blast! It pulls off the line now and it has lift that was never there before. There was clutch slip before I didn't realize was there; but it's there no more. Carbs are synced and everything is sorted out. We need to get this setup on the dyno.
Don't seethe too hard. I got about a quarter mile from work today when everything went dead. A fuse blew, and of course I didn't carry any spares. Got the wife to bring me fuses, but they kept burning out. I had a short. Several of my students drove by, along with parents, making me the talk of the school today. Wooooo. At first chance I had the wife take me home to get the truck, loaded up the bike and drove home pissed. I spent about three hours digging for the short, which I thought was in the headlight bucket since I just installed an LED neutral dummy light and hooked up the gauge lights. I couldn't figure it out, so I ate dinner, shot whiskey and went back out to the garage. Within 5 minutes, I figured out the right side coil mount loosened up enough that the positive wire on the coil was grounding to the mount. Fucking A.plagrone said:I'm seething with jealousy
