I think I'm keeping the stock lights and cutting the post back on all of them to bring them tighter to the bike. I like the angle o the bars and they clear the tanks.
That color will look good. It's a safe color if you plan to flip the bike eventually... I like a bit more bling in a color choice. But color choice is a really personal thing. A lot of folks love a blue motorcycle, I find blue bikes the least desirable things ever.
Your bike will look good like that. How you like it is what matters.
Did you mock your seat up with the foot pegs and the clip ons yet? I am curious if you are going to dig it or not.
I agree with trek. If there is still an edge that can be felt on the decal you can burry it with additional coats of clear. I like to wetsand with 600 to give additional coats something to grab on to. DO NOT cut through the clear and stay off the edge of the decal when sanding. If you sand through you will end up doing it all over again. A scotch brite pad would be the safest to prevent sanding through. I forget what color scotch brite I use but I think red ( maroon) would be the best but check with a paint sop to be sure.
Ok guys . I still need to paint the rear cowling trimmed front fender and tank. I will follow your advice when I do the rest. I really did these first just to see if I liked the paint. I see what you are saying about burring the edge with clear. Thanks guys
