So i was given this 80 gs750 16v. Its quick but as you can see in the picture the sub frame is butchered. I guess he hard tailed it then decided that he didn't like that and then squeezed shocks back in.
I thought about keeping it bobbered since that is the simplest solution. But this bike is to fast to do that. It needs real suspension.
So im starting from scratch. I am on a tight budget but i do have a machines hop and various materials at my disposal.
My questions are regarding geometry. Stuff like, what happens if i angle the shocks forward, or change the swing arm angle. Btw if anybody knows the factory specs for these things it would be helpful.
Im going for a clean cafe look and sportier riding position.
