With the Goldwing squared away for summer riding we are back on this build. I am not sure if it is cool or not but this is how I have done the electronics on my last two cx builds so why change what works. Using the existing holes in the frame, electrics mounted.
I got the battery cables in and routed to the new battery location and the wiring finalized, waiting is tough, no tank yet. Building the battery box now.
So with the wiring ready it was time to see if the system worked. I wired in my brand new AGM battery and a click is all I get. With the frame powder coated I am suspecting a bad ground so I take off some bolts and scrape down to metal, same story. I hooked it up to the Tahoe and it fires right up. I temp install the battery from the still waiting cb550 and she fires right up. Bad battery from the factory.
I changed up the seat on this one so it had rounded edges. This will be the last of these that I build. I figure on the next one I will order the seat I like and fit the frame to it as opposed to fitting the seat to the frame.
As this is just a couple weeks away from being ready I got it listed. In case someone was in the market I thought it would be nice if the new owner wanted to pick out his own seat color. Do you like the nifty new pod filters?

So i dropped the seat pan off on Thursday last week and she told me 6 to 8 weeks out, sad. Well she hired a new guy and told him that if he made a nice for me with no pattern he was hired, and he did. The first was nickel, the second was dime so in keeping with the pocket change concept here is quarter, with a chrome tank. Truth be told I prefer the nickel as it is a deeper, warmer color...
