Ha ha! I just saw this! Believe me, we were drunk, sweating, swearing, and stinky - none of which my wife is attracted to.
But yeah Joe, I'd be more than happy to help ya around the shop. Unlike Rocan though, I would take a couple breaks.

i work non-stop 10-7.30 three times a week... well, half hour break for lunch so i dont pass out.
when it comes to the moto... ive done 12 hour stretches on nothing more than a couple cans of soda. maybe ill start downing some power gels that i use when racing bicycles... those things are a serious jolt of power

8 hour shifts are for pussies!
I work 12 hour shifts, steady midnight, and it's always 20 degrees warmer inside the shop than it is outside (winter + summer). And I volunteer to work through my lunch breaks cuz the work load is so high.

ha ha ha ya, yesterday was the straw the broke the cammels back... we go riding and i have like 6 buddies that have no bike so they ride my other ones when we go out... well it was oil change time last night, can you belive out of the 6 buddies that regualry ride my scoots only one showed up, in all fairness he is also my busn partner and i do not expect him to help me at all because he works his ass off all day and does crap for me all the time, but no one else... i was LIVID! spent a better part of this morning reaming out some slackers! hell i had to keep getting my bother up to help me unload a bike off the table and put the new one on (i can do it on my own with the new talbe but better safe than sorry) i was so pissed... still am! will be funny tomorrow when 18 guys show up at my house to go riding and these FK's show up expecting to ride wiht us... and the only thing i am leaving out of the shop for them is some old ratty bicycles! FK them if they do not want to help on the upkeep they they no ride, they can buy their own bikes if they where not such lazy fkn broke asses! the new thing is to buy the cheapest bike you can afford now cause their buddy owns a shop (me) and they expect me to fix it... i have my buddies 93 GSXR600 in right now that he came by, had a few beers and then "had to run" that was 4 days ago... i got a text from him that said " hey man going to be a nice weekend just wnated to see if you got my bike running right" i replied with, "ya man no problem but before i work on bikes we require a shop deposite for work to be done" still have not got a reply! ha ha ha no more of this BS, sick of my buddies taking advantage of me being a wrench, from now on they buy a POS they work on it, not me! (unless they are payin of course)

Sounds like a bunch of bitches to me. You should collect a rental fee. Eagle Riders gets 90 bucks a day for theirs. Tell 'em they have to pay to play.

I didn't mind too much before iI had my own business, after that I couldn't afford to do things free
I never lend bikes to anyone though, sets a precedent (well, one time, to my brother, he hit a car and trashed forks/wheel :)
