'74 CB360 cafe project - (New clutch springs and back to analog gauges.)

Re: '74 CB360 cafe project - (It is running now)

I spent another weekend out of town in springfield. Setting up the scope on my musket & helping a buddy locate and drag out a doe he shot. Then I got the opportunity to help w butchering her.
Any weekend updates on the bike?

I'm in Tennessee for the week, so no updates till I get back. Need to get with Durgam_k to get the rear sets on the way. And the seat is waiting for me when I get back...

I'm back from vacation and was able to go to the upholstery shop and pickup my seat pad... I'm pretty excited with how it turned out.
I think it's going to wrap up the look nicely... I'll get it on the bike later today.

Here's a few shots of the seat on the bike... Still needs rear sets before I can call it complete... but it's soooo close now.

Damn... that's a sweet ride.

Thanks Matt, heck I think it was your build that cinched me pulling the trigger on doing a CB360 when I was doing research.

Aw... I think your bike is cool too. But I didn't find it until I already had the bike. :) Yours made me feel good about my choice. ;)

lol... thanks, man. There are certainly a lot of "better" choices when it comes to bikes, but there's just something about a 360 that I really love. They're probably the most fun I've had on a bike.

Mine makes guys feel good about their own 360s, simply cause no matter how much they "F" with it, it will never look as "F"ed up as mine. LOL.
I should ask Tim to do an "F" ed up BOTM. Then I would win for sure. ;D I bet Sonreir would be happy to nominate it...and PJ would be delighted to second that!

But all that really matters is I love my 360 just the way she is...and I dont give a rats ass if anyone else does.
except for those firestones...they gotta go.

Re: '74 CB360 cafe project - (Seat pad is complete)

I like it w no wrap. The whole thing is so clean.

Re: '74 CB360 cafe project - (Seat pad is complete)

How long did you leave the rear hoop? I've always been a it concerned about bottoming out and smacking all the tail end bit... battery, break, glass

Looks break though. Your fiberglass skills are up there, amazing for a first shot!

I'll second it if you want BOTM ;)
What's wrong with the Firestone's? (he, he, he, he, told ya so ;D )
I dunno what it is about 360's (and 250's in Britain/Europe)
I just like them and have a lot of fun 'playing' with them
