It's still loud. It cuts out a bit of the "tinny" sound, makes it a little more throaty, but still loud. Hope that helps

Since these pics I have mounted a zephyr 8" headlight with custom ears, finished roughing the rear brake rod. and mounted the guages. Since I am going to run it with the bare minimum, I now need to do the wiring. I know I could hack the old one, but I think it will look cleaner redone. Once that is done, I'll tear the whole bike down and clean, polish, and paint everything.
