The slide lift holes may need enlarging very slightly with JBM diaphragms.
It's also dependent on filters and exhaust system, some bikes work great with them.
Problem is, I just haven't done enough experimenting with them
I wonder if these will be enough to give her an accent. I do dig a chick w an accent.
BTW I was standing at the ATM the other day. The 2 girls in line behind me, chatting up a storm. Both, had really thick French accents. After getting my money, I turned around....Both of them were cute little Asian things....Talk about, equal parts SHOCKING and HOT !
Getting started mocking up mufflers to measure for welded brackets.
They are a few inches longer than the old. I think they fit nice though.
Keeping in mind they are 4 inches longer than they look, due to the swing arm length.
Well Ive been plugging away, while waiting for mufflers to come back from welder.
Got the 180w R/R and guage leds from sparckmoto.com
Turns out the R/R is everything Matt claims...charging 12.5vdc at 1200rpm, hits 13+ tween 2-3krpm and a breeze to install.
I checked amp draw on lighting system. Every light turned on. Headlight highbeam, brake pulled, even caught signal during a flash. 3.1 amps = 37watts...maybe now w the new R/R I should trade out the 18/18 halogen for the 35/55w.
Installed new starter solenoid and made new harness to complete the whole bike.
Got the mirror I broke replaced.
Plan to install these leds after the Spring Thaw weekend...
Buddy Greg is here, just finished up welding the hangers. So, pipes are bolted on.
Fired her up in the garage, and Ill be damned. The thing is HALF AS LOUD, IF THAT, as it was w the shitty emgo glass packs. AND sounds 10 times better. Its as deep a note as i think a 360 can be. and sounds great when revving her up.
I am overjoyed. They totally exceed all my expectations. Cant wait to get the O2 sensor plugged in and see what sort of tuning the carbs might need. OH YEAH... and go for a ride.
Boy between running good, decent tires, shocks and mufflers I think I might begin to enjoy riding this thing.
the only thing I can think she might need now is...
