Looking good so far. FYI, I'm in RVA too. If you ever go to Pro Class again and want to look at the "warehouse" Bring a flashlight. It's dark and they don't turn on the lights in some rooms because the bulbs are burnt out and there are so many bikes they can't get a ladder in there to change them.


Good guys though. Come spring time hit me up and we'll ride.

ive never used the CLR but i have used "the works" toilet bowl cleaner to clean rust from the inside of tanks and it really works well. also its only a buck a bottle.
you do need backing soda to wash the parts in afterwards though...

What do you mean by RVE? I'll be swinging out to a Poes Pub Sunday bike brunch one of these days. I've been building a shop that has been taking up all of my time, but it's close to complete. Hopefully by early spring I can re-focus back on the bikes (building and riding)


Nice Thruxton BTW. I almost bought a salvaged one a few year back, but got married instead.

Bearings for triple tree, rear wheel as well as fork seals are in. Just bought a clubman bar kit on fleabay. I still haven't gotten the frame unrustified. new girlfriend will do that for you...especially when she lives across the street.
