Do I need something else to run my LED tail light on top of the Spark Moto LED flasher relay? I'm under the assumption that is just for the turn signals. I guess what I am asking is how do I make my LED tail light work haha

No if you get the LED flasher it will work with both LED and non LED. The tail light just needs to be wired properly. There will be a right, left signal wire, a tail light, and a brake light wire and usually one common ground for all. So make sure you have them connected correctly to your signals and the integrated should flash along with your others. I have done an integrated Stop tail turn on a bike with a non-LED flasher but left the oem front signals and they worked just fine. If I swapped to LED fronts I would have had to change the flasher.

Sweet, just ordered one from Sparck. Does the taillight get wired to the relay? I'm not good with electrical...

No, there should be seperate wires for each light in the unit and a ground. you can test each wire with a battery or charger. connect the ground which is usually a black or green on the after market lights, to the - on the battery or charger then just connect each other wire and see what lights up if you didn't get a diagram with the light. Mine came with nothing and both signals were yellow so I had to test and label. the tail will be the dim red, the stop will be the bright red. each signal will lite up solid in yellow or red depending on the model tail you bought. The signals get wired to the same as your other signals and the tail and stop go to those wires on the harness.

I think it looks great they way it is, fender or not; love the seat color and the spoke rear wheel too! I haven't read the whole build but it looks pretty sweet, have you done a custom bike build before?

Thanks! This is my first bike build. I've worked with cars before but no bikes. I personally prefer the spokes over the mag wheels for this era and style bike. I actually have a cb750 front spoked wheel on its way to match. The front fender is going to be very minimalist. I'm very happy with the seat. It may not look too notch like the DCC seats but its functional and very comfortable.

Coming along nicely. Pay no attention to Dohc, he's got some real personal issues & he tries to make himself feel better by attacking people on internet forums. Shame too, because IF he is as smart as he tells everyone he is, he might actually be able to help people. But he doesn't post any projects so we can only go by his pats on his own back.

Yes pay no attention to me, I know nothing about motorcycles or how to make them function properly, and have never helped anyone on this site with anything.

I do, however, still have autographs available for all you followers out there!

Hopefully today's the day she's on the road! The Kawi throttle cables, controls and the Uni pods are waiting for me at home. Has anyone had any issues with the chain rubbing against the center stand? My chain is the proper length and has been properly tensioned. I may just take the stand off.

For visual learners
Professional video by the company rep who didn't even take the time to read the directions for the video to know where 4 wires go, "I think the black wire is a ground and I think this wire is...." , "I think this red wire goes right through......" ::)

Haha I thought the exact same.

Alright so I got the throttle cables sorted out, just need to splice the plugs. I went to take it for its first ride, pull the clutch lever, shift into first and it lurches and dies. And I didn't even release the lever. So my thought was the clutch cable isn't fully disengaging the clutch, so I adjust it and still the same thing. Thoughts?

You take out the plates and clean them.

But to rewind a bit - have you ever ridden this bike? IE: used the clutch? If so, then it may just need adjusting.

If not, then the plates are probably gummed up.
