The 450 is done - just waiting for the title to come back and its going on craig'slist. Sweet little bike - surprisingly quick. I wish I could keep it but I'm flipping bikes to generate some extra cash. Check out my photobucket link in my previous post for some photos of the finished product
I would check out the round "S" they had on the really old Suzi's - check ebay you'll see what I'm talking about. I was torn between the two but eventually went with the one on the bike now.
Hows the 750 coming along - any new pics?
TonUpSoldier said:No real new pics to speak of. Got the seat mounted, have done a bunch of wiring that needed done, but those wouldnt make very interesting pics. Just waiting for some good weather to get the roller out of the basement and get the motor in it, chain on it etc. Then the tank and what not goes off to paint while i tune it up and makes sure my jetting is good. Should i get some decent weather soon, i say she'll be done by late April. At least for this year. Im buying an 821100G next month also, so i have plans to break the cafe down again next winter and do all the stuff i had actually planned but felt short on time to do, such as actually get the frame powdercoated, make a pan to tuck all the electronics up behind the seat cowl and fab a kicker arm that will be out of the way so i can put some rearsets on it. Prolly do clip ons over the winter too. That and clean up all the wiring so you cant see it as much as possible. But for now, i just wanted to get her up and running, and see what i needed to play with mechanically.
I have enough extra tanks and forks and whatnot to build another 750B so im kinda shopping for a titled, unmolested frame to build a restore too.
Next winters big project will hopefully be an 1000E to build a superbike replica from, but we'll see
