And then there were two.. 1976 GT250 Rebuild

I think some call it Zen Time , I am ready to see this one adding miles... In spring you should just shop for a nerd backpack and make it the DD commuter ride.

;D

Haha thanks Cory, I haven't lost all hope, this thing may be pulling in your drive sometime this fall yet haha

and tune-a, I'm hoping to put some miles on this thing too. The wife may not like it, but barber would be a neat trip to make on the old dinger...

Anyhow, got the new coils wired to the old harness. Bolted them back on and went to see if I have spark.
Nope.
I don't.
Ya know why?
I'll tell you why.
Cuz some dummy left the key on probably a few weeks ago and drained my new battery. Oh well, tomorrow is a new day...

Dang! Sure glad it wasn't you who did that! You know, I'll bet it was that giant Garden Gnome you seem to have lurking around your place, scaring the kids, eating the blossoms off of the hibiscus, and taking a dump in the flower beds! Ever since Travelocity fired him he's been a bunch of trouble!

I'll pass on my trusty Weller if he needs it.

Haha, I figured someone would give me some crap for crimp connectors =/ that's what the terminals take for the new coils so that's what I put on. I may solder em on down the road

Haha the thing is, I bought some of that HF shrink tube, and my little shop is so messy that I can't find it. There will be a major cleaning done before I so much else on this bike. Ridesolo saw the mess first hand today, it's quite the disaster lol

I did brakes, bearings, hubs, shocks, two window regulators and a valve cover gasket on an FJ62 this weekend... that's almost both boxes of tools and grease on everything. I feel your pain... literally.

Since your thread has already been hijacked... ;D

That ol' cathode was with me since new in '96 and for the past several years took good care of things in my shop... until it was replaced this week by an auction find. Can't beat $25! Figured Hurco could use some more noise in his shop. ;D Hope you didn't put that thing up there all alone, bro!
