nice bike, nice photo... but dude, you have to name your photographs better! :)

dont upload pics directly to this site; upload to another site like flickr or photobucket, then post the IMG link.

man, could you set yourself up any better? hahahhahaha

Had a Nikon d40..Have taken 14k in 2 years..haha

Gonna go with a D3000 at tax refund time

bought my d70 today! its the top LCD thats broke, might not even bother fixing it as i can access everything from main menu (though it would make things a little faster...)

tested it out with a 24mm prime lens.... loved it, and at 80 bucks, i took it at what he was asking. will check the number of actuations on it later, but either way its a fuckton better then what i was shooting with before!

ordered a 18-55 EDII for 110 bucks or so... should be good till i can save the money for some better lenses, though i really should invest in a wide angle first as ill be doing a lot of action photography (cycling, bmx, snowboarding, etc)

@ rocon. hey ur goin to like the 18-55 i have that one with the image stabalizer in it... its awsome.. i want to get the fish eye lens and wide angle next...

no image stabilization but i dont need it...

the camera i had been shooting with sucked under low light... my options were turn iso up over 200 to 400, and induce a crap ton of noise, or keep iso at 200 or 100 and increase exposure time. i usually chose the latter, and having taken many of the shots without a tri pod, i can hold a shot perfectly steady (im talking less then 1mm movement in any direction) for a bit over a second, long enough to take the shot.

I'm happy i got to shoot with my older camera first. I learned a hell of a lot more then i would have with a newer dslr, as i was more limited in what i can do with it.

hah. no point in a fish eye that takes crappy shots ;)

what does that thing go for?

its not the camera that takes the crappy shots...
this little camera goes for around $80.00CAD. shoots 35mm film.. and has a 170 degree fisheye. Bulb functions for long exposures. manual advance (if you want to do some cool double exposures too)
I've had mind for a year. and every once in a while I go out and shoot for fun.
I just uploaded some photos I shot with it last summer to my flickr page;

hmmm, interesting little camera. would be fun for messing around, but unfortunately if i were to be using a fish eye it would be for proper action shots of different "extreme" sports.

ive been waiting all day hoping that somehow my lens got shipped here in god-time. haha.

oh... big ups to www.keh.com for cheap used lens' and things. great site.

I think I am going to sell my Nikon D90 along with a 18-55 & 70-300 lens to buy a 70-200 2.8 lens. I might have a nifty-fifty for sale, this 50mm 1.8 is great for low light photography, will post it on the buy sell when I am ready.

if your willing to sell that 70-300 separately i may be interested...

mmm.... d90... thats a great camera. though id rather have a d200 as its cheaper and imho a better camera, at least for what id be shooting. though the d90s high iso capability is astounding.
