Anyone know a site dosumenting a CB/CL 175 engine rebuild

looks like the advancer is rusted onto end of cam.
give it a good soak with penetrating oil, it should slide off.
be careful not to snap end off cam, its only about 10mm dia cast iron (with a 6mm hole in it)

I'm with ya PJ, that advance unit looks rusted on.
Wonder if its stuck at 5 degrees or 40 ? LOL

Also, the cam chain tensioner is not too bad, I've seen alot worse. Your call if you want to replace it.
Depending on your budget, it looks usable.

Now would be an excellent time to sandblast everything. Makes the cleaning side of the build sooooo easy.
Perhaps look at building a dodgy blaster of some sort, or get em done some place. Won't take long.
