for those of you that dont know what a typical northern snow blower looks...

As opposed to a southern snow blower:

Hell I will swap you an Aussie summer for your winter Rich. Most of the people I know have never seen snow, and those that have know that Australian snow is much the same as what you scraped off the walls of hour freezer.

Ohh and nice to see the penmanship is pick up. Keep it up mate.

I figure you and Crazy get a pass since you live on an island with weather so bad that even the British punished people with it.

The weather, flora and fauna helps keep the tourist count down.

I know nothing of snow blowers or the need to own one. I live in the south for a reason. Its nice to ride most of the year.

Yea... "Winter" is the worst three weeks of the year down here ;) :p

Ya, for riders/drivers there are really only 2 seasons up here... winter and construction.

The roads take a pounding over the winter. :p

Car antennas....boy they were handy to have, a winter safety feature. You put your antenna all the way up and stick a day-glo orange ball on the tip of it. That way when you came to an intersection, you just looked over the snow bank for a bright orange ball moving along because the snow banks were higher than the cars.

THe premium parking spaces at the hospital were the ones that had electrical outlets so you could plug your car in while you were at work.

Anteana balls... Man I had almost forgot about those! The gas stations handed them out free, just like road maps.
Something you just don't see any more. ::)

in winnipeg the bars have plugs for you to plug your car into while your inside lol

In Flim Flon, there were outlets at the coffee shops and variety stores so your block didnt freeze while you were getting your smokes and donuts.
