Sir, there are only two things to do in the Flon, and drinking is the most popular of them (of course, it typically leads to the other one...)

I have a few ideas.

1. The joys of riding though sudden changes in weather. Like how it rains the whole time you ride until you get home.

2. The best thing about riding in different seasons.

3. And those idiots that pull up next to you and start revving their bikes trying to get you to look.

Believe me if I can figure out a way to make money off you guys I will

Rich ........................ making money - I guess that's secondary to the buzz you get from being creative. However, nothing wrong with getting a little [ or a lot ] in return for that creativity.

As to a book ................ John Hancox [ the CR artist ] is so busy with his regular artwork, I don't see a viable opportunity to liaise over the proposed "Beachcomber's Tales" coffee table book. They're still a bit away from being knocked into shape as I'm going back over all the Tales to tidy them up and add recently rmembered events !

Maybe a Transatlantic Co-Operation coming on ?

I guess your style could easily depict some of the cameos in the various tales.

Some sort of profit share ?

Still OK to call you on your business line during the day ?

Now that would be an amazing book. I would by 3. That way when Crazy "borrows" mine I can still find one of them.

Here's my day - having a fantastic day. Got to work early on a cold morning watching the sun rise, day goes silky smooth, bike is running beautifully. fires up first kick - then when you get home your fucking kicker pedal you spent hours making fell off somewhere on the way home:

comic-ify it!

Parts falling off? That never happens.

Maybe it is just your bike helping you find your way back home.

Weight saving mod? Your bike is now faster :D

I had a fastener shoot off of the 900 and outrace me down the road riding down some washboard pavement. Nothing else fell off, so it must have been unneeded. Didn't Colin Chapman famously remove fasteners till the car fell apart and then put the last one removed back in? ;D

What, you've never ridden a Harley? I give my friend shit all the time, even though he's a lot more open minded than many in terms of his Harley chauvinism. He'll post something on FB about riding across the Bay Bridge and something or another rattled off his Harley again, almost like a badge of honor.

Were you riding a 441 BSA by chance? They made a Harley look like rank amateurs when it came to parts falling off. I think BSA must have owned stock in a safety wire company.

Cookie, Brodie ............. someone suggested a Book of "Beachcomber's Tales from the Day" a year or two back. When I ran it past John Hancox, he was well up for producing artwork / cartoons to accompany the Tales. However, his health took a dip earlier this year and he has been very busy with his "proper" artwork, and maybe this might be a good alternative working collaboration. Still have to speak directly with Rich to discuss the possibilities.

However, interest in a book of "Tales from the Day" from the assembled DTT'ers was very encouraging - over 75 people showed an interest then, and more since.

As stated, I'm using my enforced down time [ still dog minding ] to go over the older Tales and polish them up. There's also a few Tales yet to be told - and that's before I get into the Auto related ones ! We'll see ...............

TJ - I'm flattered; but what you see here is all the drawing I've done in a decade. Let me get my legs under me before we talk that big a project!

In that case you better stop slacking and post more comics.
Ya know, in the name of practice.
