... I really like Swaggers idea of a couple of nuts welded on the back side. Nice and clean and would be easy to do. If nothing else it would give peace of mind. After all these CL pipes are not the easiest to find....

I was going to do that but use bolts instead of nuts (threaded bungs) when Cris talked me out of it. My worry with that was that if my geometry on the bracket was off at all I'd be holding the pipes in stress which could break them. True that they aren't easy to find, but they should be easy to fix if you're good with the burner.

LOL, same thing as me... I've been 16 for 13 years now.

figure one of your sons will be looking for a christmas gift!

Joe, Thank you very much for posting that. That thing is sweet. I'd love to have it because I think it would look perfect, however I'm to to point in my life when I get socks and underwear for Christmas. It's on the wish list though, but I figure I'll be buying it sometime in the spring if it's still available ;D.

Oh don't worry. It's on my list so thank you so much for posting that. I've dealt with that company before and they were awesome. I only hope they have one available when I'm ready.

Wouldn't it be possible to powder the light you have? Didn't it say in the ebay listing that one was powdered? Just curious. I'm pretty sure there is ton, ha, of love for that bike regardless.

I did not see that! Troy let me see if he will tell me what powder that is? i have never seen something like that except my gold... if he will ill do yours!

Good eye ghosttown! Joe that would be killer. I wonder if it is something like gold chrome? Anyhow, maybe I'll have a good Christmas afterall ;D

dude Im glad I came back once more to gawk! So that bracket mounted to the swingarm is the stocker? i dont recall it being that long.. thats genius!

Would you believe he is on like the fourth re-do. It started as a kick ass cafe, then a bob with a stretched swinger to a hardtail chop to the latest of cool flattrack inspired bike. I just wish he starterd with a new 360 everytime cause I really liked all the bikes it was. It would be quite a stable of rides, but alas, they only live on in the pics here and in our memories.

Dont feel bad Mike, hes got the 750 just sitting there being unloved... Haha. No honestly I hear ya, but the 750 will just end up badass too.

My first cb 360 $175.

My second and third cb360 $175 for both.

Knowing when to quit, priceless!

Why quit if I'm not satisfied? If I can see room for improvement in something I do everything I can to make it the way I think it should be. Thats just me and the way I am about everything. For me its an evolutionary process and my satisfaction is quality of quantity.
I guess I consider most of the renditions of this bike as mere mock ups.

Well Troy, your friggin mockups are better than a lot of peoples finished builds. But I get it. It isn't done until it is the bike you have in your head hammered out in the steel.

Cheers,

Mike
