Re: Blake's CB350 ( Pipes Cut + Video)

i like pipes that are of tuned length. end of story ;)

Re: Blake's CB350 ( Pipes Cut + Video)

I agree with Joe, those pipes look way out of place. Also I just watched your video and saw you running the bike without a battery which is a big no no, You can ruin your voltage regulator, among other things... it is fine if you hook up even a dead battery and then hook up the charger to it, but it needs something there to capture the electricity. My dad long ago told me about this after I blew through a few electrical components on a build of mine. Otherwise, great job!

your dad had his hand in front of the header to check compression, I do it too.

Your idle is low. its getting there though man. congrats.
Idle low? is that bad?

And my dad helped because i couldnt film and rev without something to sit the camera on...

Yep moving right a long... gonna glass the seat... made my final revisions on the foam. (sunday is the day.. that im doing this)

Re: Blake's CB350 ( Pipes Cut + Video)

what did your stock pipes look like. you can always cut them up and make somethign cool out of them.. get a 45* bend to get a bit of a kick up behind your foot peg

Hahahahahahahaha!

But seriously, I'm glad you're making your own seat, instead of buying one created by someone else. Props.

Re: Blake's CB350 (Glassing Seat....WITH PICS + PIPES + VIDEO)

Good on ya for making your own seat bud. Looking good. Its a good idea to glass some support into the seat base. Adds a little weight, but make a much stiffer and stronger seat.
