New "cobra" seat pan is complete...

Its very strong (8 layers of woven and strand glass, with just the right amount of resin) and a killer shape.

It will be going to the upholsterer (our own Alchemy PGH) next week I hope, for white vinyl to match the grips. Im really happy with how it came out.

Not bad Mike, I think a white vinyl tuck and roll or even a diamond patttern will finish it off nicely. looks like it will be comfortable at least fro some triips this summer.

Thanks guys. The fender isnt attached yet, but in the front it will bolt directly to the frame, and out back itll be held up by the sissybar Im making now.

Glad this build off thing is still going on. Its nice to come to one thread and get updates on three awesome builds. I also like the fact that you've all passed the deadline. I understand you have to put some kind of time limits on a buildoff. However, the #1 thing that drives me crazy about build offs on Tv is the fucking hurry up and build a bike mentality. I understand what they are trying to do but I give no more respect to a builder who builds a bike in a week than one that takes a year.

Ha... Yeah its vinyl. Im eventually going to buy a pinstripe kit, but for now its the cheap easy way.
