Here is an update... She is now painted fully! Time to assemble the rest of the bike!
Get that wrench ready for thursday night...
Stay posted for more pics, Rusty
So here are more pictures that are trickling in as the parts cure from paint today...
One pic is the front and rear fenders with my 'accent holes' cut into them... Some might call it tacky, I like to call it style!
The other pic is of the gas tank with the new Brass Skeleton key gas cap replacing the NOS honda cap.
What do you guys think so far? The build will probably be going down on sunday or monday, so I will post pics as I make progress.
looks good - can't wait to see it together. you really should use Photobucket though for pics so we can see them full-size (and it's easier for you to upload and paste the links).
So I got the tank sheilds on, fitted the switches on the side over, mounted the seat, put the swing arm on, mounted the rear tire, started to put on the suspension, etc...
Yeah I dug deep through the night bro... Its coming together slowly but I cant wait until I have a rolling chassis man, thats the sweet spot as it will be easier to work on.
I will probably roll by your place tonight so we will catch up then Rusty.

So I havent had a chance to post high res images, and I FINALLY setup a photo bucket account... so the pictures are on thier way.
As of current, the bike needs to be wired and I need to install/adjust the cables. Thats about it, coming to end of game in the next 2-3 weeks I think.
I will try to post an update (with images) on tuesday or wednesday... Rusty; going to need you to come over, crack a brew and snap a couple pics.
Yeah, it is pretty kick ass for sure.
I dont know if it really classifies under any of the Forum categories... I put it under 'Cafe Racers' as they originally made a race model (that I was inspired by) in the early 60's.
What are your thoughts? To me its a Vintage Bobber Cafe Hybrid almost.
