I dunno, I really like the way hardtails look, not that I would ever own one. Some people prefer form to function, and some people have some pretty strange opinions on what good form looks like.

Not a big fan of Sportster tanks, and this pair are just so/so, but I like hard tail bikes. I wouldn't want to ride one every day, but I'd love to have one as part of a collection of other types of bikes.

I think anything that has ever been on OCC is horrible, but I'm not going to go call them "abortions" or criticize other people for liking them. That's classless.

hardtails that mimmic an actual proven historical design are a different story
they will at least handle well on a smooth road

Well, if a customized motorcycle is dangerous, people have to be big boys and girls and determine for themselves if a motorcycle is "safe" to operate before we buy or ride it. I'm more concerned about the grandelattesoccercellphonemom or bumpers being held on by bungee cords being a danger to others on the road than any motorcycle.

as far as i am concerned when a "customized motorcycle" is done so far as to become a complete hazard to anyone near it, it really fails to be a motorcycle at all,hence the abortion moniker
