is that some sort of magneto or wacky electronic ignition sticking out of the side of the motor where the points plate would have once lived

i'd still have it though, i seriously regret selling the one i built from boxes of parts years ago, never even got to ride it, mind you it had a proper seat rather than whatever the hell that thing is

well there you go, the ones we got here were set up with 3 sets of points under a chrome cover, apparently Kawasaki wanted to use electronic ignition but it wouldn't pass ADR's (Australian Design Rules) because it was unshielded and interfered with TV and radio signals wherever they went. in fact i don't think any bikes here got elec ignition until the early 80s

what a load of absolute horsehit :eek: ??? ::) :-\ :)
the powder monkies need to need to put the tootstraw down and step away from the booger sugar

That must be some seriously amazing patina for $17,000. It should at least have a miraculous image of Jesus and the winning lotto numbers.

I really dont get it, they did nothing special to that bike, looks like every other 750 out there. They may have $3k into it. They said its 'named after the Japanese aesthetic' im assuming that wabi-sabi (since they didn't actually say its name).. Thats the case, this is a CB750 wabi-sabi bike, and I bet he didn't even pay $16k for it.. http://www.pipeburn.com/home/2014/07/21/76-honda-cb750-by-raccia-motorcycles.html#.U81VobHkpxU
