All that being said, he was certainly gracious in his response. Kudos to him for that at least

I just want to note that I in no way represent the fellow selling the bike, these are the answers he gave when i asked the questions. ;) ;) ;)

in an unrelated note to the aforementioned "builder"

Brevity is the soul of wit.

I can't see how you can park that thing in front of a building without someone thinking you're a terrorist.

One of a kind rat bike. Runs great and turns heads. New tires, new carbs. Some extra parts come with it.

He needs to change this to "most parts are missing"

Is this a Wabi-Sabi bike? Should then be $17000, a minimalist design.

Despite being utterly ridiculous, I kind of like that CL160. Fuck it.

But at the same time, given the prices those things fetch these days and the cult following they have (especially in the NW vintage racing scene), $1200 (offer a grand! Or less!) ain't all that bad for a running CL160 that you won't feel terrible about customizing to your heart's content since it's not gonna be restored. Fun little bikes. That being said, I got my CB160 for a c-note five years ago and although those kinda steals are rarer and rarer, they're still out there.

And I should add if he put "naked bike" in the ad that couldn't hurt!
