$4k for an unfinished CB360? No matter what you weigh that's not a good deal. I'm not a big fan of Dreams, but that's the deal out of that lot.

haha

"It has a freon tank for holding gas (3 gallons!), a sick rake,"

that sold me on it right there

$5500 CB550. Doesn't look too bad but some obvious problems, including the price. But it does have .45 caliber holes in the license plate holder, and although it's "loud but perfect" there are "backfires while downshifting" and it fell over and the tank got dented.

Honda CX500 Cafe Racer $5,700.00

I was looking at trying to coax it back to life and be a bike to blast around town on. After riding my friend's TS I've been looking for an old two stroke thumper. Or, if its gone I could try to part it out.

this is a far better deal though http://fresno.craigslist.org/mcy/4986838898.html
free so it passes the parting out test.
apparently yamaha 750 runs but needs new cylinder rings.
and probably needs the carbs to be cleaned as well.

i have yet to see one say this before and be a stolen bike though i have only been glancing at craigslist for around 2-3 years

Blow by in "both' cylinders? Both Seca 750's I've owned were I-4's. Free is good, but that Seca wouldn't pay much in parts vs labor to break down and ship... Pass.

there is a motorcycle shop that hones cylinders and puts in new rings for like $50 a cylinder so $200 for an apparently working bike not including carbs. might be worth it.

I need this guys # does he do sleves, boring, coatings... does he do head work, will he cut beryllium copper alloy seat inserts ... whats the work like, what machines does he have???

its tire store that one old guy runs although now that i think about it could be $50 or $80 not sure right now... and now just honing for that price. I think he does do sleeves boring and coatings i don't know the price for those since my cylinders just needed honing. as for the others no idea. its working well. and i am not sure what machines he has i handed the parts to him and returned a day later for them.
