"Cafe Racer" such a loose term! Craigslist "Gem" of the week!

I used to occasionally get inside large power line spools and get rolled down a small mountain in nc, I'd jump on it at least once too

Back in the day, I drove several VW's home after snapping the throttle cables. Thread the cable through the shift hole in the floor, wrap the cable around my hand and pull, hoping I could get a shift and not fry the clutch... I think I made it home on several occasions.

A buddy and I drove about 12 miles home in a VW bug with me squatting on the back bumper running the throttle and him driving. That's as close as I get to that scenario.

Haha... that's closer than I would get even then ??? same deal though, I was out about 20 miles off Pompano out of the Boynton inlet and lost the throttle cable, end snapped right off... my brother in law ran the gas while I drove, all was good until we got close to the inlet and shit gets rough, we hit a wave and fucker ate half is finger off on the flywheel and now were dead in the mouth of a narrow inlet with the tide going out, had to beach it and get a tow in

Mine broke coming home from the county fair with my friends back in the day. I ran some twine through the bonnet slots and worked the throttle with my left hand out the window. Many years later, I saw someone else doing that while on my way home from work. It brought that old memory flooding back. Good times!

In 64 I jumped into shark infested waters off Midway Island's harbor point (red "X") to beat out a sailor who was trying to get a fishball. I was 12 at the time. Oh wait, we're not seeing whose d**K is bigger than anyone else? Sorry.

Really just having some fun telling old stoopid kid stories, but if you have a really big cock... I'm sorry :-\

Rarely do you get what you want on a build. He is correct on parts costs, but why would I want a 175 when I could have a Busa for $9k. Just cause you spent it don't mean it's worth it. He's going to own it for some time.
