"Cafe Racer" such a loose term! Craigslist "Gem" of the week!

I wouldn't pay $600 for it, but that Puch could be fun.

Laundry list of parts that he spent probably more than he's asking for the whole bike. IMHO I'd buy it and be happy to ride.

I thought your post about that was rather dickish. Now this guy just totally proves your point! When you're right you're right!

Maybe it was built as a 2 wheeled street cleaner?!
What can I say...I am a dick...but seriously this guy does prove my point...that thing is a death trap !!

Re: "Cafe Racer" such a loose term! Craigslist "Gem" of the week!

I posted this in my thread but I'll get better response here.
350 bucks. 1972 Honda 350.
The motor is free, parked in 1989.
It defiantly will need new tires and the bars will have to go ASAP.
It has the originial title that was signed BUT not dated.. The second owner just never signed it or transfered it.
What do I do, will the date thing be a problem?
I don't want to show up at the DMV and not be able to transfer it, or worse, have to pay like 500 bucks to get it transfered after all these years.

I dont know about your state but I had this happen to me in GA with a 1969 cb350. I just dated it and turned it in. They had no record of the last time it was registered and taxed me for like 10 years or something as a default. If i remember right given the value of the bike it was less than 50 bucks.

Colorado no longer requires a Notary on newer titles but the old ones that still have a space for it can be a PITA if you get a grumpy DMV employee.
