While this isn't quite a Cafe, I figured some people would want to see this. I'm slightly jealous of the person who gets their hands on this.

oh darma :-* :-* :-* :-*

I don't recall the drama as a very popular bike back in the day. I liked the look but to most they looked like the smaller parallel twins that were not well loved, so no one wanted one back then.

How does that make it highly collectible now? I just don't get that whole collecting as investment thang.

Bought a Darmah when the first shipment arrived in Oz. A nice enough bike, but with diabolical electrics and a faulty crank pin. The Speedline wheels were prone to shatter unexpectedly, which made riding one much like playing Russian roulette.

Also had a parallel twin; a much nicer bike and a pretty good performer, but despised by the Ducatisti.

Crazy

Dudes an idiot

Sellers name is Daphne. The "dude" got caught cheating and she's selling his bike out from under him. Reminds me of the guy who got caught and is getting a divorce after the old lady threw him out. He tells her to sell the Porsche and split the money with him. So she sells it for $10 and sends him $5. ;D

for 12 grand you would think the guy would have done that and either shaved the top triple or custom cut a new opne

Now I see in the details it's a Ridley Automatic 750cc, with Pink flames. It's a girls bike and probably worth $7500. Ya the "0" button got held down too long.

With the forks like that, it must be pretty scarey in the corners. Why do people fuck up the geometry just for a certain look ::)
Because in their stupidity they never actually get to ride a bike that handles well to know the difference.

Daphne answered one of my questions about more pic, but not the price question:
"The bike is 2006 one owner I do have more pictures but I have to wait for my husband to post them I don't know how, sorry, we've added things on her she's just y beautiful het"

Ya, but 3/4 of a million dollars worth of add-ons?

EDIT: She just got back to me on that question also:
" No it's a mistake sorry it's 7500"

Checks off just about everything on the shit list, including the angle grinder with sparks photo.

I'd like to know how he shaved a stock CB750 tank down to raw aluminum.

How does he know the motors in amazing shape, and the brakes stop on a dime if its not currently running?
