ah the cosemetic shit is easy ,but buying one of those is a fools mission without a complete and thorough inspection of the cams and followers and related bits this means yanking the valve covers and getting a good look

unless you have buckets of money to gamble ,but the odds are stacked heavily in the loser column

It turns out I know the guy, so deep diving into it may be possible. If he says no, I will give him an offer of $200 and take a chance, I really just want the motor anyhow. Worst case I part it out I guess.

I like it but I would like it more with a longer seat. What do you guys think about the price?

shirley you are joking ,right ? thats a parts bike and a hidiously ugly one at that ,that has been modified seemingly to make it go slower than a stocker 'specially round corners
the cull who built it needs 'is hands chopped off and be made to look at tuna's cb sohc ,maybe the horror he has committed would sink in as the blood flows out

I was trying to be sarcastic, yes it is fugly, the short seat is the least ugly thing on it.

$500 maybe

Definitely worth more than $500, but not ten times. Motor alone is worth $2k-3k, the rest he has let degrade to bring the value of the package down.
