It does have those way cool Roadrunner decals.

Even so, nice clean example and they are only original once. But still wwwwwaaaaayyyyyyy optimistic on price.

"custom exhaust, a new tank, a new seat" - I don't think any of these things are true....well I guess the exhaust "could" be considered custom.

$100 says that bike was built by a high school kid. Maybe 17 or so.

Do you think he stands back and thinks..."Looks just as good as any other bike Ive seen on the Internet."

I think he's probobly a young dude who doesn't know any better but is trying to do something other than sit in front of a TV. Can't hate him for that. Maybe one of you Detroit folks should shoot him an email and see if he'd be interested in hanging out here on DTT and learning something.

Poor kid. The angle of the tank makes it look like it rear ended somebody. Not quite a CR, or a Bobber, or a Rat Rod. . .just not quite right. You're right VY, he could benefit from DTT knowledge base.

Is this false advertising? Or are they just indicating this bikes' potential?

sweet tiger lamp ;) has to add at least $500 to the value.

That's a repop of a VERY popular aftermarket taillight from the 60s and 70s. I had one on a bobber a few years back. You'll actually see them used quite often on "traditional" cafes and choppers.

I remember something similar from a Popular Mechanics plan back in the 1980s. Wish I still had that magazine, it was actually a pretty cool idea.

Yep. Met a Brit bike racer from the 60s and 70s who claims to have known the guy who designed it/made the first one. Truth or fiction? I built a cb175 to sell and used one and the guy who bought it was psyched. The repops around here cost $15.

Not a bike but one HELL of a sweet deal ( ). Just thought I'd share.
