can you maybe help me with the following? Want to have the rear more like a cb750 becouse i really like the way it looks and it has a small bump at the end. Hope you can help me out.
2en0, what is the frame rail width (outside to outside) on the GS550? The sizes I can make could work for you depending on the measurement you have.
Firsttimer, I see the style you are looking for but it would likely take some fabrication work to give it that broken backbone look like the 750 you have in the picture. You could possibly weld a flat loop at a slight angle to give you a similar style. Let me know if interested.
Hey Cafegoose i'm interested in one of your upturn hoops for an XS750 it measures in at around 9inches outside to outside, 1inch tube.
I'm on the Gold Coast over in Australia. Can you ship here? What additional cost would be involved.
Cheers
2en0, the larger loop would fit this project great. I use 1" O.D. steel tubing and the outside to outside loop measurements to match your rail are approx 8.75-9" (you said yours is 8.86"). All I would need now is to know if you want a flat loop or one with a kickup. Send me a PM with your PayPal email address and the answer to my question and we can get started. Thanks, and good luck with your build.
