But I wouldn't recommend too much of that just yet. Lowering the front end in any way will make it steer quicker, and accentuate your wobble, especially if it's coming from the front. Common causes of wobble come from bad steering head bearings, bad swing arm bushings, bad wheel bearings, rims out of true, wheels out of alignment, wacky geometry, tweaked frame, and so on. Check everything that has to do with your suspension.

This is really good advice. I'd worry more about the wobble then the speed. If you get a tank slapper at 100 your gonna be horizontal for days. But yeah, open up the carbs and pipes for top end, lose some weight on the bike and rider...:)

OK I put on a set of Harley Dyna pipes, no baffles, and the bike still ran like a champ, I think it may still be rich.

I guess when it cools, I'll check the plugs, and go from there.

Sweet bike man. How much of that header wrap did it take for those? What size did you use? I've got a set and I'm not sure how much to buy.

Thanks Giant I appreciate it.

Pipe Wrap....I used two 25 foot rolls of the titanium wrap with about a foot left over on each roll.

I did more overlap because the 1/4 inch they recommend would not work around the bends.

it's impossible, so I did a half width overlap.

I also ditched these pipes, since they were straight Harley Dyna pipes, they fit ok, but interfered a bit with the kickstand.

so I put on the EMGO side slash pipes, and that made a way better sound, it pops just a touch when decelerating from speeds above 50mph.

Some folks here don't like these, but I don't know better since I don't have the luxury of listening to a bunch of other pipes.

I feel like the only cafe biker here in Omaha.
