>>CB550 bobber/brat>>FINAL STAGES>>

Re: CB550 bobber/brat>>>FINAL STAGES..

Here are more pics taken today. A professional will be taking more next week for the moment the tank, fender and seat are just sitting there and controls have to be put back on and guages need to be positioned right in front of the tank under the trees.

You get the idea of the bike.

Cheers

So did you just drill and tap a hole into the from for the front turn signals? I really dig the look and we need to figure out something for Sausage's 360. Can you snap a couple of good close ups of the front and rear installs?

The sigs are tapped into the swing arm in the rear the the frame in the front with a brass sleeve as a spacer and esthetics. You can see them in the rear shot of the bike. I have to cut up some brass for the fronts still. Oh and the angle of the bike is fine but the exhaust makes the bike look high in the front. Once the bike is fine tuned it will flow real nice.

Wow, that is a lot of amazing work and detail you've put into that bike! The pics on your BB didn't do it justice. Can't wait to see that bike in person! Awesome work, beastie!

Lovin' it. PLEASE reconsider running gauges-keep those bars as clean as possible! Guages will blow the look; you can figure out how fast you're going by traffic, trust me! :D

WHAT! no way! sucks flying by a cop no knowing if you are screwed or not... you can always mount the speedo LOW on the down tubes you done have to have it on the bars... but have one on there... i have put about 50 in chops and custom rides for people that bought bikes without them for the clean look and hated it!

they have some small ones like i am using on my scoot... hell if you do run it on the lower down tube you can scuff and shoot it to match the frame... i agree on the bars would not be the best but you are going to want a speedo... hell i run a tach as well so i can really push my bikes hard!

Great stuff Paul. Although it looks clean without any gauges, you need a speedometer for a cert. I like having a speedometer since it also has an odo and trip meter. Very handy.

Ya, great job, man! 8) 8) Can't wait to see it, hear it and meet you!! ;D ;D

I agree! I didn't have a speedo on my H2 for the last 2 seasons (broken!) and hated it! ;D ;D

"Hey Drew... so, how fast were we going there?"

We are hoping for a big ride/reveal next week and we need as many riders as possible ;D Ill keep you all posted once I get it started.

Thanks again everyone. 8)
