Re: Copper Pipe Customs - CL175 Build Thread - THE TIGER!
New stuff!
Used some copper (will be replaced with alluminum) pipe to make a sleeve to house the brake light switch: the spring looks gnarled I know, its getting flipped to flex correctly - Just temporary.
Finished the brake side rearset, and installed all the new turn signals:
Built a mounting bracket for the original tail light to fix it to the seat pan as the fender is gonzo:
I didnt get a pic, but I trimmed that triangle down to contour the top of the light so you cant see the bracket at all:
Im going to tuck it up there even further. When I do it ill take pics and show how it is attached. I quite like the little idea. Light and it works!
We also did the bar-end mirrors, and some other thangs but I forgot to take pics - Will have more soon! Was gonna do the seat but my damn mat got wet, so its drying out.
OH AND! Anyone ever used these Redwing shocks? Theyre unadjusted but these things are really lightly dampened. Not very stiff at all... Just wondered if there was something to it?
Also, anyone have any ideas for the tabs that stick out from the rear under the seat that used to hold the fender and the works? One slot is holding the tail lights but theres those nasty tabs hanging out from the bracket that mounts the seat pan.. Ideas needed!
