DO THE TON BOOK - First Edition - Photos & Specs needed....

** UPDATE - JUNE 13/10**

Ok guys.. Bill and I spent most of yesterday am going through the book, literally page by page...
We are pretty darn confident that we have a really good book here.

Bill is going to take this week to finalize the changes and submit the final version to the publisher.

Bill is also in the process if negotiating the final price with the publishing house. We are trying to keep the price low...
There are a few options avaliable:
1. Try to oragnize a group purchase and submit 1 order for x-amount of books, which will lower the price even more... but that just means most organizing and chasing people and payments down...

or

2. Everyone just orders directly from the publisher and they'll print-on-demand, less organizing & grief on our parts, faster to you guys BUT may mean a little more expensive.

Bill will post up all the details /options once he's submitted final copy to the publisher and gets their feedback...
 
Been away for a while and when I returned I find that the book is just about ready for prime time.
How keul is that?

I have to have on too.

Just an FYI, Let me start with a huge apology for the additional delay one the final revisions that Noel and I have honed down. Fathers day weekend my home was flooded from a boiler failure and since that time I have endured about $1200 in repairs to my heating system ad have been working with the insurance company on recovering the damage costs from the water, including the clean up, sheet rock, flooring, molding etc. Needless to say this situation commanded my attention away from the book in the last couple weeks. However I m currently back to the grind stone with the final edits and I fully expect to be sending Noel the finals for his sign off in the next week. Again I am extremely sorry for the delay and I appreciate everyone's patience and support for this book. The responses I am seeing really make it all worth while.

Sorry, what was i thinking ::) I'm going riding on Tuesday, it'll have to wait, just like me.
Oh and the order is up to 5!!
 
So i just posted a very awesome post about how my bike will be ready by the Sept 1st deadline..... only to find out I am a year too late :( Either way. I would love a copy of the book as well.
 
Well folks, I have submitted the final cut of the book to Noel via screen shots in email today. I am planning on calling the print publisher and haggling with them on the final price once Noel has signed off on the final edits. Personally I think this book came out better than I would have expected. If you like cafe racer porn - this is the Playboy of DTT! :eek:

Great job Bill!!.. DAMN.. I cant wait to get my hands on the new Print Version.. Althought the original draft copy, (2 in existence), is pretty cool too!!..
