Mitchell you keep blowing me away. You keep pulling out more shots and each should be framed and hanging on a wall. Awesome job

Thanks Troy! Trying to get DTT member bikes done first, non-DTT stuff will only go on facebook and thanks for liking my Motion Photos page there.
Still a lot of shots to work through.

Somebody should start an official thread now..........(ahem.......Tim........)

Hopefully I can bring the wife and son - both kicking and screaming! :)

Oh, I think we can wait a few more days to begin the 2013 thread ;)

Mitchell you have more? Wow! No problem on the like. Much deserved!

Hey Tim did you edit some video yet?

Too much wind noise with the cam on the top of my helmet. Need to dub over some Cigar Store Indians or something.

We didn't get the clear runs like we did last year. But I do have at least one more commute captured in 1000 pictures (literally). The camera was set to take a pic every second or two, so I'll see about stringing them together.

Those captured the fastest ride of the weekend.

Thanks for posting the pictures guys, helps us unfortunates have a small taste of what it was like, looks like it was a blast. Nothing like being there, but it helps. Would love to get to one of these one day, but doubt it would be anytime soon. I just plotted out the route to see the distance. 4500kms...I wonder how long that would take on my MB5 :)

Hey Deacon, I live right by the line between NB and Maine and if you can go next year there is a free over night spot for you. Then you could ride along with me or with me and the family. It is a long 2 days from there, and I bet 2 days with the ferry involved to get to my place. MB5 would likely double or triple that so I would suggest the Gladius or a cage and trailer the MB5 and 350. Whatever you can plan you have a spot to stay on the way and ride support.

Cheers,

Maritime

Deacon, is the ferry direct out of St. John's not running in October? It would save you a day of riding for sure if it was? My place is like 8 hours ride from the ferry in Cape Breton.

Thank you very much Maritime, very kind of you. I doubt very much I'll be able to take you up on that offer though, no way to get the time or money needed. There isn't a ferry out of St. John's, but there is one out of Argentia, which is an hour or so outside. It stops running sometime in the fall (September I believe) so need to do the long haul across the island. Definitely wouldn't attempt it on the MB5 since its all highway. Best bet for me would be to fly down, buy a bike down there and ride back. :)

Would be an amazing trip though, I can dream.

That would be a cool way to do it for sure. Just get Kiley to pick you up a nice one before barber and you can fix it up in his shop and ride it home. Would be epic.

Whaatt!? You got my 350F! Aww man, you juSt made my weekend! I didn't think it was going to get a shot, but you went and surprised me! Yea, leave your name on the posters, for sure.

I'm checking on printing some of the images on vinyl banners, like a 13oz race-track banner material, for hanging in garages if anyone is interested.

Yes, one-off vinyl banners would cost more but last a lot longer. Grommets could be added for easy hanging and they could be wiped clean and will far outlast a paper poster in a garage.

I just want to make sure the images will look good printed on vinyl first. I'm thinking something around 3 feet wide?

Just in case anyone did not know yet and was wondering. Barbers 2013 date was posted earlier on their fb page. Oct 11-13. Start making your plans to get to Bama!

Fuckin A!!!
I can't believe they posted it so soon. Usually it's March/April before we get the dates.
I have to schedule my vacation days for the entire following year in December. So scheduling for Vintage Fest has been a crapshoot. Thankfully, I've been very fortunate at guesstimating the correct weekend.
Now I'll be able to get some decent sleep between Dec. and Mar. :D

It is always the 2nd weekend in October.

Last year was throwing me off though, because it started on the first Friday of the month. Vintage Fest also falls on the same weekend as the end of Cruisin the Coast, so I had been using that as a reference as well.

Hey did any of you sticky-fingered hooligans accidentally nick a socket wrench from Kiley's?

In case you haven't seen the thread....
