Hopefully next year I can get a few of y'all into the pits to hang out.
Tedd I want to get more involved in vintage racing. I got to do the parade lap and now I'm hooked. We need to talk about a track day for DTT guys. :) Cheers!

Its super fun! Whereabouts do you live? You should find tracks near you, and see what organizations race there...in the northeast its USCRA...then theres WERA...AHRMA...VRRA...the list goes on. Some racing organizations will hold their own race school, but taking an accredited one like Penguin or Keith Codes school will teach you a bit more about riding techniques.

If you have any questions feel free to private message, email me or call me. I dont want to clog up this thread anymore! Haha

Makes me wonder if they would cut us a DTT discount next year for parade laps. With enough interest, I wonder if they would let us do a DTT parade lap set.

Home in CT safe and sound. 26 hours to get home but the detour was worth it. We rode Deals Gap.

Kiley and Denise are the best hosts I've ever known. I'm so very grateful for knowing them. Thank you so much!

It was so awesome to catch up with all of you this weekend. I have new memories and friends I will treasure forever.

RTE 81, rain through entire state of Virginia(both ways),Barber swap meet,Ace Corner, parade laps,Gumbo (the best),Wrenching till 4:00 am,Beers from everywhere USA,Friends I didn't yet know,My favorite Aunt, Kiley bailing out "The Crew".......again,Shine Shine and more Shine,I'm not really a redhead,Open pipes at 6:00 am,Hot showers provided by a 50cc piston, morning ride to the track going the opposite way (so what, I got to see a dead Armadillo.....twice),mental note, two strokes shouldn't lead a ride, Nabisco, Southern BBQ,Lighter fluid is always better,Best friends, DTT, Deals Gap.

If I could raise a beer to Kiley, Denise, Jared, EVERYONE that made this weekend possible, it'd be about this big.

Seeing everyone at barber truly is the highlight of Jenn and I's year. I hate leavi g but can't wait to come back every year. So who's going to mid ohio?

Man what a weekend! I'm so proud of the extended family I have in all of you guys. The knowledge shared, the hospitality, and the spirit that makes our community what it is. Texasstar, I can only hope I can instill the knowledge in my son the way you have with Zeke. Kiley, Denise, Jared, Melissa you guys are the epitome of southern hospitality! Neil, the 2banger genius, thanks for giving me the knowledge to get Christine running. I'm just upset Chris didn't hide the snacks again.
I could go on and on about how everyone was there to lend a hand to everyone else when needed. YOU GUYS ARE ALL AWESOME. I can't wait to do it all over again next time.
SCOTT

Amen and amen to that. Good people, good conversation, good ideas, good spirits, makes a beautiful circulation of awesomeness!!! I wish we could do it so much more often!!! And Texas star! Your son is amazing! I too hope that my boys can be as passionate about something super cool like what we're into as well! I hope that they take cons the interests of being a Renaissance man like myself!!! But Zeke really encouraged me when I was upset was my bike and he was going over everything in his head he could think of was causing the problem!!! Super super cool kid and again thanks for the blonde bro!!!!

Big thanks to Kiley and Denise, jared and his wonderful wife.Scott for the awesome jumbalaya!!! hands down best weekend you could ever ask for. Loved seeing everyone and meeting new faces!!! For those that didn't make it you were truely missed. can't wait til next year!!!

I've been asking myself how can I even begin to sum up that experience. Few words describe it that's for sure. First off huge shout out to Kiley, Denise, Jared and Melissa and all those hosting and providing food etc. No better host on the planet period. Thank you!!
It was such a pleasure to meet people and making new friends as well as seeing old friends. Those experiences are sure to last a lifetime.
A major thank you to all those who stepped up and volunteered their time to park bikes at Ace Corner. I was blown away at how well each and everyone did. I realize sometimes it can be tough to deal with the public, the heat, the Barber volunteers and vendors etc, but each and every one of you did a fantastic job! Many times I witnessed our crew going above and beyond. Many times just doing what ever it took to get the job done, making everything go smooth and look easy. We were the ambassadors of Ace Corner and I'm extremely proud of what we pulled off. Thank you!
I also want to mention Chris (cc rider) for stepping up and doing my job when I couldn't be there on time. I'm really sorry you had to deal with the cluster at the very beginning, but I think you, Michael, Doug and crew handled it extremely well and got us right back on track. Also, thanks for doing the meetings and purchasing the tents and all those other behind the scene tasks that had to be done. Without your hard work and the hard work of others non of this would have happened. Thank you
I should also mention Megan (Big Rich's wife) who really worked with the Barber staff and had them eating out of the palm of her hand. I was amazed at how she got them to work with us (from using their staff to help with parking to loaning us their radios etc). She also helped with logistics and anything else needing done. Thank you Megan.
It's really cool to see how much Ace Corner has grown and to know that without DTT it probably wouldn't be near what it is. I'm sure I'm missing some but it's not intentional. My brain is still recovering from the lack of sleep so I apologize. Just so you all know, I heard over and over again what a fantastic job we did! So, everyone involved please pat yourselves on the back!
I'm already looking forward to next year!

I doubt I could improve on all the Thanks that have been heaped upon Kiley, Denise, Jared, and Melissa for all they did as hosts/hostesses over the weekend. And quite frankly Thanks does not, and will not cover it. We need a word that means more. Something like... AwesomeUberBoucoupApreciation!! (ok, I'll work on that ;) )

Every year I get to see old friends, put faces to the ones I haven't met personally yet, and make new friends. This year was no exception. My head is still spinning from all the names I have to put with faces, the good times I had, and from that awesome 'shine. I hate naming names, because I always inevitably leave someone out, and that is not my intention. But I'd like to give an extra "AUBA Thanks" to:
Kiley and Neal for all their help making/modifying the chambers on the 250. I actually had a guy ask me Saturday at the track, "Where'd you get those pipes?". And with a smile a mile wide, I told him "I did that!"... Just kidding :p With a giant smile I told him the tale of two great people I know who helped me do it.
Junior for making me laugh, every... freakin... time... he got within 10'. This guy fucked with me all weekend! And it was the best time ever. For those who know Junior, y'all know. But for those who have never met Junior, you are missing out, and need to do so. He is one of the best people on the planet... period.
Meagan for being an absolute beaming ray of sunshine Saturday morning during our shift at the track. And she was a hoot to be around all weekend. I soooo look forward to seeing you and Rich again.
Zeke for being... well... Zeke. I had the best time talking to you about your bike, my bike, and bikes in general while I was reinstalling my chambers. I walked away from that conversation with a huge smile, and told anyone who would listen how cool a kid you are.
Mike (4eyes) for bailing me out on the ride out Friday morning :) I told y'all I only saw that route on a map, and if I lead, y'all take your chances! :p

To everyone else, the regulars and the new comers, you all gave me a weekend to remember ;)
And if ANY of y'all are ever heading down to N'wallins, y'all let me know ahead of time. I'll give ya the nickel tour for free ;)

I didn't take many pics, but once I get the few cleaned up, I'll post them up ;)
