"Do the Ton" rear sets - Lets do them cheap - No takers???

Next to the beautiful levers your linkage looks a little unrefined but STOUT(!).....

I was perusing the thread and I think your adjustable clamp to the frame arm bit is a good idea and you've made the clamp base large enough to hold well without concentrating force on a tiny footprint.
It'd be nothing to do them for any size tubing or just have a reference mark cut and the end user could have them machined to suit maybe. As well, the adjustable arm angle is the shit! Give a couple options for length and you'd be able to cover a large portion of buyer's needs.

OK... gonna respond to a couple posts here in one shot...
Yes, I can get pics of the bracket... Tho the one you see isn't the real one. It's soemthing i threw together in about 15 minutes flat with a cut off wheel and a drill press. The original was machined from cast iron plate stock and when i bolted everything back together, I forgot a spacer, which caused it to twist and snap when i cranked her down. I'll tyake pics of the original and show you what its supposeed to look like.

2nd… Linkage.
Yeah, I know.. It’s butt ugly… But thanks to the economy(wife’s been outta work for almost a year now) this is a hardcore budget build. I’ve done my whole project for about $125(with $60 bucks going to the engine gasket set). Finally, being a machinist has come in handy… Those clevis’ were just mill out of some .500” key stock we had laying around. I’ll be replacing them with nice ball style rod ends when I can.

3rd….. If anybody needs or can use them, I have CAD/Cam files of everything I’ve done, and proven out G-code programs… Shoot me a PM and I’ll E-mail them to you

4th… Thanks for all the compliments guys, I had no clue what I was doing when I started this build, this site has taught me pretty much everything I’ve done..

My comment was definitely more to be complimentary toward the machine work, hell as it is that linkage is better than most home made rearset rigs...

no worries, I didn't take any offense, I just wanted to get something a little nicer and smoother in there...

I could prolly help in this.

I just took this pic. This is in my garage.

Holy shit! THe trouble I could get in if I had a cnc in my garage! ;)
Looks alot like the Mazaks I used to run years ago...

I hear a plug coming on! Should probably start your own thread though to be fair to the OP..

Are you making any for the KZ400? I know a ton of guys on that forum KZ400.c0m that would love to buy some, I would love to sell them on my website www.billetproofcustoms.com
Let me know

I would say count me in, though I would not need brackets as I plan to weld a plate (possibly flame-shaped) to my frame after I remove the passenger peg stays.

Well, sorry guys, but unfortunately I won't be able to be much help in this anymore... I got laid off and don't have access to the shop anymore. :(

ahh man! that is crap to hear... hope you lock something down pretty fast. never good to hear that

Hang in there! Never good to hear of a brother losing his gig.
I'm in the same boat......
