Had another look at dual exhausts on eBay but they are all either ugly or mega bucks. Will keep looking but also look to mock up the 2 Megs options to see what they will look like on the bike.
maybe another option might be modern after market 4 stroke trail bike mufflers, generally same shape as your first choice yoshi cans but much smaller/shorter/narrower. usually optioned as alloy or titanium but prob carbon as well. also usually available as both street legal or full race noise........heeheeheeheeheeheeehee
Putting a 82?? VF frontend on a 1978 Honda 750SS had it on just need to cut off the stops off the VF neck and weld them. Would have had it done except for totaling a 2011 CAT dumptruck Did you rework the internals? I have made all the mistakes I can afford until I get well! Thanks, wil
Never said anything on here because, well never had much to add. Sadly I still don't besides she is looking great and I've been following this thread since I've been on this forum. Nice work my friend
I think the best approach is to get the headers welded up, plan on the secondaries and then mock up a few options in CAD (cardboard aided design). Will then post up some images for the peanut gallery to view from a few angles.
Read all of the posts WOW! Amazing job! I've never built a cafe have a 76 Honda CB750 it's too nice! and 2 78 Honda SS750's one is a rider the other has had the frame cut under the tank! Back in the day before Americans especially Texas knew much about bikes someone cut the piping under the seat to better access to the engine. It runs good have cherry picked parts to get the best for my rider so what am I waiting for? Got to finish paying off the Y2K VFR. Here the plan again back in the day people built choppers using the SOHC Honda 750 engine. I know this site isn't a for say chopper site however with the talent I have seen via pix and read about why not! Ed you have been an inspiration for sure for me and no doubt for many others. I have lots of tools some welding & painting stuff (although I'm not a welder) a small covered place to work so about the only big part I need is a frame. Cycle X has a nice one for 800.00 it'll work but I would really like to have something with shocks. I'm looking for an Amen Savior frame?? or something that has shocks of course I can use the stock OEM frame and kong it. www.choppers.com which is more affordable right now. Of course it's winter time so not much will happen till the VFR is paid gets warmer. Thought ideas?? Thanks wil

What's the general consensus on using smelting between where a frame and fiberglass seat /cowl mount? I've got a mounting plate from dime city which is pretty much a glorified cutting board, or I was going to do some urethane washers... Or use nothing?

Can you try again in English we can understand? ;D
Maybe use a computer with a keyboard so Apple doesn't 'correct' everything you type :
Smelting usually refers to refining metal by melting it
