couple more pics... The tank isnt bolted down and is sitting about an 1' higher in front than normal. Seat isnt bolted down either....

Ok will do... I took a few inches out of the rear hoop and then re attached it. Then added a few tabs to it to bolt the fender to. I'll see if I can get a pic.

I was reading your post the other day, something along the lines of building a poor mans custom with minimal mods to the frame. Well, your looking @ one Mike. The short rear hoop is the only frame mod besides de-tabing the frame.
 
Banana seat is similar to what you have on Yam.
They were made with a 3/32"~1/8" annealed alloy base so could be curved to fit just about any frame (bends like a banana ;D )
Don't know alloy grade but they age hardened
In the 80's I picked up a NOS one that was impossible to put slightest curve into, it was about 20yrs old though
I think we fitted it to my brothers Triumph?
 
Man, those high pipes look SOOOO much better, they really add another dimension to your bike. Great job man, excellent work!!
