Been Around the Block
sheerstatic said:We'll see how the flip-up adapter holds up. It has mixed reviews on Amazon. The shield looks very good and clear, with no distortion. Won't be able to test it out for a while, it's 32 and snowing here, and my bike is in 137 pieces.
Yea the only thing that scares me is how it holds up at speed. Would kind of suck to have the shield whip open at speed lol. I just saw that DCC has some flip up bubble shields on their site now too.
Yea i feel you with the cold. It's been in the 30's for a couple of days here too. I must be getting older, I use to not care about the cold! lol I tried to go out yesterday and work on the bike and within minutes I couldn't feel my fingers with 2 pairs of gloves on! Kept running inside to warm up then back out again, and I was in a shed out of the wind. Eventually I gave up and decided I didn't have to do anything with the bike THAT badly.. I think it was in the upper 20's yesterday, well into the teens with windchill. I love the seasons, but Fall went too quick!
