I've got a '77 XS360 and just finished doing a fork swap from a 2002 Suzuki SV650 (thanks to some all balls conversion bearings) and i've run into an issue.
Everything fits great except now I've run into the issue of the axle diameter being too big. The axle on the SV forks is 17mm and the inside diameter of my
brand new all balls wheel bearings is 15mm. I can't see any resolution to this issue other than new wheel bearings that are identical to mine now but with
an inside diameter of 17mm but how do i go about finding those?
I will say that i do plan on changing my front drum wheel out for a wheel that I can run dual disc brakes on since i've got the SV calipers sitting around. This
probably won't happen for a while and I'll have to find an 18" wheel with the exact dimensions that takes a bigger axle diameter and disc brakes.
Does anyone know the dimensions of an XS650 wheel bearing? I know it runs a 17mm axle. If someone could take some measurements with a caliper, I'd
really appreciate it. I can do the same with my wheel bearings. Thanks
