Here we go again....xv920 Turbo?

Dude, that is awesome. I remember when we bought our house. Damn if that wasn't one of the defining moments of my adulthood....I rented for a decade or more, and to not have to worry about lost investment, for me, finally made me realize what my pops was trying to tell me when he said that property was the only investment worth having in the end. That's doubly rad that A: you are getting into the position where you can do that, and B: you have decided that you're cool enough with the place you are in to commit to that. Good on ya brother.
 
Just wanted to say, I'm enjoying this thread. My turbo XV920 project is well into its 3rd year now, lots of distractions. I finally have it completely apart for (hopefully) the last time, next time it goes together, it will be to ride. We're going about everything differently, which is great IMO. Awesome imaginative build!

If you want (and because I didn't keep the dims) once you get it on the bike, measure the bridge piece and if you want I'll burn you up a second so you can speedhole the shit out of it..

I'm now thinking that the XV parts bike might have a new purpose.
 
This is getting bad, local C/L has an '82 XV920, no seat, no tank, no forks $150.00 Just the items I don't need anyway. Did ya ever buy a car and then it seems you see one every day there's something in the air? That's a cool bike alright but the photograph is also very well done.
