Hey... where are y'all?

Moncton NB, Canada......Waiting for the bloody snow to melt... but it is 6 deg above freezing today ;D.......then again it is going to be -10 and snow tomorrow :'(......

i'm in pennsylvania.. north of philadelphia, south of the poconos

In Pennsylvania......but unlike you living in the beautiful Pocono area.....I live in the middle of nowhere!!! Check your Pa. map......Smethport (Mckean County). Check Google maps (satellite view)........forest as far as the eye can see!!!!!!

i'm about 5 hours away from there.. i'm not as far north as the poconos, i'm closer to quakertown. i live next to nockamixon state park

Curious...it is as hard for you (out there), as it is for me to explain the concept, let alone the style of bike we all know and love.....the "cafe racer"??? I was testing my latest creation on a quick road test...and stopped at a local supermarket. I "had the patch"....and all I got was, "what's a cafe racer", and "are you from around here"??. Off came the helmet, and I got...Oh shit Jim, what the hell is that?? I wallow in the land of the Harley, complete with a number of hardcore 3 tier patched clubs. 4 clubs from 10-50 miles from my house. I love being different and unique, but this is ridiculous!!!!! Maybe they will know more about cafe racers when the local Outlaw or Northmen chapter whip my ass at a red light with my patch on...then they'll all know what a cafe racer is!!!! Nice to meet ya!!!! Funny.. seems most people I meet from Pa. say the live near a state park, even me!! LOL!

Franklinton NC here. Middle of nowhere sorta. 30 min. north of Raleigh.
Where most ride HD's and Street bikes as well. man I feel so left out. But I like being different. I've yet to see another cafe racer around.I think I might have seen one once, but I was riding in my truck and could not flag the guy down.

I hear ya on that! Im about an hour north of Pittsburgh PA ( next to Bradys Run St. Park ;) ), and forget knowing what a cafe racer is let alone realizing that Honda ( or anyone other than HD ) made motorcycles before 1990. I get , "what the hell is that little thing?", or "you could've gotten a sportster cheap if you like girls bikes!". Got a few M.C.'s out here too. Outlaws, Pagans, a few Angels every so often. They actually give me less shit when ive run into them than the accountants on there $40,000 dressers.
Maybe at some point all us PA folks need to get together for some partying in one of our beautiful state parks!

i'd be up for a PA meet, i don't care where i've gotta ride to!
i get some bike questions, but mostly i get guys who can't get over that i'm a girl who rides. even worse if they find out i can turn a wrench. ::)

Western NC here. I've seen a few cafe's riding around the lake lure area, but never managed to flag any of them down :-\
