Its got that dark look that I really like in a bike, plus its a stroker... and has post-apocalyptic style headlights! Whats not to like?

Cheers - boingk

The first one is great, Id rock that anyday.

The second one has some amazing fabrication work, but isnt my style.

I absolutely love that first bike. That being said, the offset headlights with gauge pushing one lower look a lot like Piggy meeting the Rock in Lord of the Flies.

Hillsy, that GSXR framed bike is one of the most incredible fab jobs. I have been following that one. The other thing is just a beat up old bike with bits hacked off and a large can of black paint thrown at it. Low budget, little imagination and low functionality. No comparison mate.

Thanks for sharing that GSXR framed special. His last build was also amazing IIRC but this one takes it to a new level. The colour scheme is a bit odd, but the workmanship and work and ca$h that went into it are all impressive.

Not many of us have that sort of budget, but we can aspire to the level of finish and attention to detail.

Whats it for? Not street legal-not set up for road racing-not a drag bike.Show only?bj

It's street legal and registered in the UK (they don't need lights if it's registered for "day use only" ;) )

Does make you wonder why anyone would do all that work and not be able to ride it after hours though.

Those 750's were thirsty beasts in stock trim, so with the work that's been breathed on this one it's probably only got a tank range of 60 miles or so. And it lives in rain sodden Blighty.....

Definitely a daytime wheelie bike ;D

I like the Gixxer framed Kawi, if anyone was following erskine's thread they would know about daytime MOT in Britain.
You only need a rear reflector
If you have any lights, you have to have all lights
It's a pretty much no restriction spending (although you can get a lot of stuff done cheap if you know the right people)
With a drag race motor is probably terrifying fun, you don't ride it far before adrenalin overload sets in ;D

At first glance, maybe. Check out the build, and I think you'll find you've been a little harsh in your evaluation.

Both are cool in their own way!

Thanks for posting!

I dig em both, just hope mine turns out half as cool as thoes ones, just need to find some motre time to work on it. Damn broken foot n work keep gettin in the way.
