Nice looking pipes 8) but I want a pipe that will fit my 81' CB125S;I'll have to make one or have it bent for me.The 'good' is i already have one.. only it's been pinched-down/restricted by the hydraulic tubing bender.
I'll just use it until I can find someone to do a nice mandrel bent pipe.
That's an XR100 and the pipe is bent just for that frame/eng.,it would have to be bent again to fit my CB which goes along the side of the frame rather than underneath.
I just spoke to a man on the phone who has a mandrel bender and trying to see what pipe he can bend that has an i.d. of 35-36mm or 1 13/32".;I was reading online from the Aus. bucket racers forums that that is the optimum i.d. to use for good performance.
This bender dude here in PA. told me he likes thick wall tubing better as it won't collapse like thin.He has .095 thick 1.5" tubing but it only has an i.d. of 1 1/4"
It really seems as though you prefer to ponder rather than build. Where is this beast that you've been talking about on multiple forums for over a year? Last month it was a 185 and the month before it was a 200 now we're back to 200.I've never seen a pic of the machine in question.

The project is mostly in the 'parts' stage w/ a rolling frame w/ the XL200R engine installed only for 'mock-up' to weld on a headpipe;I have two engines for it w/ the XL200R being the 'ultimate' w/ 12vts. and top-end power. I'm using the bottom end from an 82' XL125S to build an XL185S 6vt. engine and that'll be my 'torquer' engine more for mid-range power w/ improved/better topend than stock.I got the XL125S bottom end and later found out the cases were badly cracked underneath all the built-up sludge and grease on the bottom,I got it cheap off ebay and the seller did refund me some $.I have those cases up to the Indiana,PA. Voc-Tech high school and they are using them to do tig welding practice so I'm being patient.I have the XR200R head(I'll use it on my XL185 engine) out being rebuilt and ported. The Winter sucks w/ the weather so i'm doing what I can now and looking forward to when i get all the parts in one place.
